Description
A charming Australian-bred collarette dahlia, Aitara Conference features vivid red florets surrounding a contrasting golden-yellow collar. Its distinctive colouring and open, graceful form make it particularly lovely when used as a cut flower, especially when picked young.
First released in 2002, Aitara Conference was first presented at a Dahlia Society of Australia conference championship. Since its introduction, it has become a highly successful exhibition variety, regularly taking honours in the collarette class. Its combination of striking colour, unusual form and strong garden performance has made it a valued Australian-bred variety.
