Description
A delicate miniature decorative dahlia, Formby Pride features elegant white blooms softly brushed with lilac at the tips. Its cool, understated colouring gives it a romantic and graceful appearance, making it particularly lovely for cutting and soft-toned floral arrangements.
Formby Pride is one of the historic Australian Formby dahlias, bred by J. Harding. The Formby name is closely associated with the late George Harding of Tasmania, whose breeding work produced many highly regarded Australian dahlias. Formby Pride has also enjoyed success on the exhibition bench, including a championship at the South Australian Dahlia Society State Show.
