Description
A striking bright-red fimbriated cactus dahlia, Winkie Volcano produces beautifully fringed blooms in both small and medium sizes. Bred in South Australia by Winkie Dahlias, it has become a highly regarded variety for both exhibition and floristry. Its strong stems and excellent form make it particularly valuable as a cut flower, while its vivid colour creates a bold statement in the garden.
Winkie Volcano first attracted attention as a seedling and won its class at the 2014 Victorian State Show, receiving an Award of Merit. It went on to win Fimbriated Championships at major shows, establishing itself as an accomplished exhibition variety.
