Description
A charming miniature decorative dahlia, Strawberry Shortcake produces delicate blooms in a soft palette of pale pink and lemon. Particularly distinctive for producing a mixture of fully double and semi-double flowers on the same plant, each bloom has its own character. Its long, straight stems and vigorous flowering make it an excellent choice for cutting, and its gentle colouring is especially beautiful in romantic bouquets.
Bred by Loralie Merton of Florelie Dahlias in Victoria and released in 2020, Strawberry Shortcake has quickly become a favourite among florists and flower growers. Its soft pastel tones and unusual mix of flower forms make it a wonderfully versatile addition to the cutting garden.
