Description
A stunning medium-to-large informal decorative dahlia, Carlos Watermelon produces beautiful watermelon-pink blooms with warm coral and sunset tones. Its wavy, pointed petals give each flower a relaxed, painterly appearance, with the colouring shifting beautifully in different light. Long, dark stems make it an exceptional cut flower and a favourite for event floristry.
The variety has become particularly sought-after among cut-flower growers for its excellent stems, long flowering season and beautiful vase performance. It is also known as Buckajo Watermelon, although the original name is generally considered to be Carlos Watermelon.
