Bookings

Pick‑Your‑Own Flowers is a seasonal experience, and bloom times depend on weather and growing conditions.

Our booking system opens only once we know exactly when the fields will be ready.

We’re not taking bookings just yet — please keep an eye on our socials for opening dates and flower‑field updates.

Once the season is confirmed, we’ll announce the first picking weekend and release bookings.

FAQ

We strongly recommend booking ahead as we can only welcome a limited number of visitors onto the farm at one time. If we have space, we may be able to accommodate an on-the-spot booking, but please don’t risk missing out!

Choose a $60 medium bucket or $120 large bucket. We’ll give you a quick introduction to what’s flowering and how to pick, then you’re free to explore the designated picking areas and fill your bucket with your favourite seasonal blooms. Snips and a take-home bucket are provided

Additional visitors accompanying a PYO participant are $10 per person, and children 3 years and under are free. At least one PYO bucket must be purchased per booking.

Absolutely! Bring along your favourite vase and arrange your freshly picked flowers before heading home. We also have a lovely collection of vases available at the farm if you’d like the full pick-to-vase experience, with different shapes and sizes to choose from.

Your flowers are picked according to the PYO bucket size you’ve purchased before arranging them into your vase.

Whatever Mother Nature gives us! Greenfinch is a working flower farm, so varieties, colours and quantities change throughout the seasons. Follow our socials to see what’s currently blooming.

Yes! Private PYO sessions are available for groups of 10 or more paying participants. Your group receives exclusive access to its allocated PYO area, and every guest participates in PYO and takes home their own bucket of Greenfinch-grown flowers.

You’re welcome to bring your own food, and a limited number of tables, chairs and tableware may be available by prior arrangement.

Of course! There are plenty of beautiful photo opportunities amongst the flowers. Personal photography is welcome in designated areas — just be mindful of our crops, animals, other visitors and working areas of the farm.

Flowers are at their freshest earlier in the day, before the sun warms the field and the blooms begin to soften. If you’re able to visit one of the earlier sessions, you’ll usually find crisper stems, cooler conditions, and a wider selection to choose from.

Yes! Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome but must remain on a leash, stay away from our farm animals and flower beds, and please remember to pick up after them.

Expect to get muddy! We’re a working farm, so we strongly recommend closed, comfortable footwear and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. After rain, things can get particularly muddy — boots are your friend!

A little rain doesn’t necessarily stop us — sometimes it just means extra mud! Severe weather or unsafe conditions may mean we need to postpone your session. We’ll contact you if this happens.

Sometimes! Selected farm animals may be available to meet or feed during your visit. Please only feed them when invited and with food provided or approved by Greenfinch Farm.

Our opening days change with the flower seasons. We open for advertised PYO sessions, flower-inspired workshops and confirmed bookings rather than standard daily opening hours.

Greenfinch is a working flower farm, so some areas may be muddy, uneven or closed to visitors while we’re working. Please stick to designated visitor and picking areas during your visit.
