Description
A striking Australian-bred ball dahlia, Winkie Kestrel produces warm orange to deep golden blooms on strong, upright stems. Its rich colouring and neat ball form make it a beautiful choice for cutting, with the warm tones adding depth and character to floral arrangements.
Bred in South Australia by John and Anne Menzel, Kestrel was selected from the Winkie seedling patch in 2010 and quickly became one of the breeder’s favourites. It performed strongly in the 2013 Trial Grounds and has continued to be valued for its quality blooms and excellent stems.
